If you like to play poker with other people, Community Poker and Poker Poker Celebrity are the choices.
Unlike normal poker games, there are no cards dealt face up and all cards are hidden down from other players. In this type of poker, bluffing is important because there is nothing to help you determine what cards a player might be carrying.
In 7 Card Stud, a spin-off of the classic poker game, players use the seven cards they are given each game to create the best five-card hand to compete against other players with the five cards in their hand. One of the main differences between stud and other poker games is that stud games have a fixed betting limit. This means that the players in this game have set a limit on the amount they can bet, so players cannot go “all in”.
How to play 7-card stud
- All players place their bets.
- Starting from the left/right, the dealer deals each player two cards, face down (called hole cards or pocket cards) and one card face up.
- Everyone gets to see their bottom card.
- The player with the lowest card must put in a small bet called the “Intro”. After that, the other players at the table act in clockwise order, deciding whether to cover, call or raise until all players have completed their actions.
- At the end of the betting period, each player is dealt a second open card, and the player with the largest open deck acts first. This player may choose to pass or bet in small bets. For example, in a $1/$2 hand, a small bet is $1 and all bets are in $1 increments.
- At the end of the bet, the uncovered player is dealt another open card, and the player with the largest 4-card deck acts first, followed by the other players at the table in order until the end of the round.
- At the end of the betting round, the uncovered player is dealt the 7th and final card, which only the player can see, and now each player has 2 open cards, with the player with the largest open deck acting first. After the last round of betting, if there are more than two players who have not covered their cards, the game will be decided by a showdown.
- Players show their hands during the showdown in seating order. The player who can get the best five cards out of seven is the biggest winner.
