Gin Rummy is an exciting card matching game. In order to move the game forward, you need to place a card that is one point less than the previous card. For example, if there is a card worth 10 on the pile, you need to put down a card worth 9. The first player to run out of cards wins. To make this relatively simple task more challenging, you need to follow another rule: no restitution is allowed! The best part of this variant is that it has a built-in computer opponent or 5-card draw mode where you can play against your friends.
The goal is to combine sequential sets of cards from the same suit or the same rank and get an agreed number of points. The game continues until the winner reaches the final score goal, usually 100 points.

It is easy to learn and can be played by any number of players. Join the fun! The dealer shuffles the deck and deals 10 cards to each player alternately (1 card per player at a time). The remaining cards are placed face down in the center of the group to form the inventory.
Regular Options
- You can only discard a card that you just took from the pile when you get it.
- It is impossible to discard a card that was face up when you took it (from the discard pile).

Terminology used in GIN RUMMY
- Stock or Draw Pile : The remaining cards from the initial card distribution.
- Discard Pile or Pile : A place where each player places a discarded card after each turn.
- Deadwood : A card that is not part of a fusion.
- Knock : You may knock on the door when your deadwood tiles total 10 or less.
- Fusion : When a player fuses by having three or more of the same kind or by three or more runs. A run consists of three or more cards of the same suit in ascending or descending order. Unlike Basic Rummy, players do not lay down their combinations in Gin Rummy until someone knocks on the door. Cross-fertilization is not allowed. Gin is when a player is declared to have 10 fused cards (no Deadwood cards).
Big Gin is when a player has a Gin but decides to draw another card and it fits their combination. They can declare Big Gin (11 fused cards) without discarding their cards.
Culling means adding a card to an existing fusion.
Attacker – A player who performs a knockdown.
Defender – The player who is knocked down.
Undercutting is when the defender scores as much or less on dead wood than the knockdown player. This situation is called undercutting and the defending player receives points and bonus points.
Default Score
Points are calculated from the deadwood cards.
The ace is 1 point / the number card is worth its face value / the picture card is worth 10 points
Round Scoring
After a player knocks on a goal and makes a stoppage, the points awarded to the player who knocks on the goal are equal to the difference between the two hands. For example, if a player knocks on a goal with 8 points and the defense has 10 points in hand after a stoppage, the goal knocker gets 2 points.
Gin is 25 points + the sum of the dead wood in the opponent’s hand. big gin is 31 points + the sum of the opponent’s dead wood. In a tie, no points are awarded to either player.
Game Scoring
The first player to reach 100 points wins the game.
